Job Description
- Lead and manage all phases of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) project execution from initiation to completion.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems within overall project plans.
- Develop detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans to meet project objectives and deadlines.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to resolve issues and maintain project timelines.
- Oversee procurement of MEP materials, equipment, and subcontractor services, ensuring compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and present progress reports, technical documentation, and project updates to senior management and clients.
- Manage and mentor project team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Ensure all MEP installations comply with local codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Facilitate project handover, commissioning, and close-out activities, ensuring all documentation and as-built drawings are completed.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year and maximum of 2 years of experience in MEP project management or a related engineering field.
- Proven ability to manage multiple MEP projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems within construction projects.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle full-time, onsite responsibilities.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities at a mid-level career stage, with experience supervising teams.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
- Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and contracts.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to work flexible hours as project demands require.
