Job Description
- Follow up on the project’s design implementation and solve technical issues.
- Prepare and issue necessary shop drawings for all allocated tasks.
- Attend progress meetings, discuss and suggest technical proposals.
- Carry out and issue technical reports and proposals.
- Review and check as-built drawings.
- Study and prepare requests for information for various projects.
- Follow up Subcontractor’s progress.
- Review subcontractors’ invoices.
- Review design drawings and ensure that there are no conflicts between different departments
- Receive the drawing’s approval from the client before issuance for construction
- Coordinate with material engineers to ensure that materials are available on-site before starting activities.
- Provide technical assistance to sister technical offices in other projects and/or departments.
- Prepare shop drawings and as built drawings and ensure documentation and records in use are reviewed and approved by Senior technical office.
- Assist Senior for preparing & updating projects’ BOQs including pricing and calculating quantities.
- Monitoring project progress and materials control by reports to maintain cost control on site activities.
- Prepare quantity survey for any activities for purchase orders.
- Following up with sub-contractor all issues related to engineering and provide solution.
- Manage budget and purchase equipment/materials.
Job Requirements
- Bsc in Civil Engineering.
- From 3 to 8 years experience in residential and commercial projects.
- Very Good at AutoCAD, Primavera, ASD, and MS Office.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, and ability to prioritize.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical, critical, and logical thinking skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently when required.
