Job Description

  1. Reviewing and approve project’s material requisition to ensure that the requested quantities within the takeoff and ensure that the requested items have a BOQ or variations reference.
  2. Preparing and issuing projects invoices and any document accompanied with cost impact e.g. variation orders.
  3. Coordinating meetings with consultant to review, discuss and approve the submitted invoices and variations orders.
  4. Conduct site visits to verify site progress that reflected in the invoices and attending regularly commercial meeting with projects parties to discuss projects commercial issues.
  5. Select subcontractors, agree the scope of services and allocate work.
  6. Create subcontractors IPC and maintain sub-contractors log.
  7. Value completed work and arrange payments to subcontractors.
  8. Follow up on quantities needed and delivered from suppliers and subcontractors.
  9. Measure, value and follow up the work done on site.
  10. Compare delivered and as built dimensions with original contract or variation orders to readjust contract agreement.
  11. Identify risks surrounding the project and the likelihood of cost variation.
  12. Track any changes to the design or actual work and report any change.
  13. Liaise between site managers, project managers and the client.
  14. Prepare variation orders quantitative report and items breakdown structure.
  15. Review Project’s shop drawings to be issued to assure it’s compliance and consistency with contract documents and project’s outline.
  16. Prepare complete material take off for the project.
  17. Prepare project’s items weighting factor sheet.
  18. Help planning section in forecasting the cash-in scenario for the upcoming months.
  19. Prepare Project’s IPCs invoices reports and manpower utilization report.
  20. Supervise and review accuracy of inventory reports to be used properly in items cost allocation.
  21. Evaluate and feedback the actual costs of items according to actual quantity and actual prices acquired.
  22. Create a detailed report of subcontractors and site progress to commercial and planning manager.

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  2. Experience from 3 to 6 years in Construction companies
  3. Very good knowledge AUTOCAD and REVIT is a must.
