Job Description
We are looking for a motivated Marine Systems Engineer with 3 to 5 years of experience in marine engineering, shipbuilding, or ship repair. The ideal candidate will assist in the technical development of marine systems and play a key role in the technical procurement of marine components. This position requires strong engineering knowledge, attention to detail, and cross-functional collaboration.
???? Key Responsibilities:
Support the design and integration of marine systems (propulsion, power generation, auxiliary machinery, control systems).
Perform engineering calculations and review technical drawings and P&IDs.
Collaborate with the procurement team to review and clarify technical specifications for marine components.
Evaluate supplier proposals and ensure compliance with project and classification society requirements.
Assist with troubleshooting, quality inspections, and documentation processes.
Ensure adherence to international regulations (e.g., SOLAS, MARPOL) and classification standards (e.g., DNV, Lloyd’s, ABS).
Job Requirements
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, or related field.
3–5 years of hands-on experience in the maritime industry.
Basic understanding of marine systems and procurement processes.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CAD knowledge is a plus.
Good command of English (written and spoken).
