Job Description
- Perform and supervise maintenance and repair operations for heavy-duty trucks, specifically Mercedes Actros MP3 & MP4 models
- Troubleshoot and resolve urgent mechanical or technical failures in a timely manner
- Manage spare parts inventory, ordering, and coordination with suppliers
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance schedules
- Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards
- Use ERP systems to manage maintenance logs, costs, and parts usage
- Generate and analyze maintenance reports using Microsoft Excel and Office tools
- Coordinate with the operations team to ensure fleet readiness and minimize downtime
Job Requirements
- Experience: 10–20 years in heavy vehicle maintenance, preferably in transport/logistics companies
- Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of Mercedes Actros MP3 & MP4 systems and diagnostics
- Spare Parts: Strong background in identifying and managing spare parts related to heavy trucks
- Analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail to ensure records are kept as needed
