Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Expertise:
- Serve as a subject matter expert on Microsoft 365 products and services.
- Stay updated with the latest features, functionalities, and best practices related to M365.
- Customer Engagement:
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer needs and pain points.
- Conduct discovery calls, meetings, and technical workshops to gather requirements and present solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and answer customer queries regarding M365 products.
- Solution Design:
- Develop and propose tailored M365 solutions that meet customer requirements.
- Create and deliver compelling presentations, demos, and proof-of-concept (PoC) scenarios.
- Prepare technical documentation, including solution architecture, implementation plans, and proposals.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with internal teams, including sales, marketing, product development, and support, to ensure alignment and successful delivery of solutions.
- Participate in joint sales calls and meetings with account managers and other stakeholders.
- Training and Enablement:
- Conduct training sessions and workshops for customers, partners, and internal teams on M365 products and solutions.
- Develop and maintain technical sales collateral, including whitepapers, case studies, and competitive analysis.
- Market Awareness:
- Keep abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies related to Microsoft 365.
- Provide feedback to product teams on customer needs and market trends.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience as a Pre-Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or similar role, with a focus on Microsoft 365.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365 services, including Office 365, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Exchange Online, and related security and compliance features.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, SaaS, and enterprise IT infrastructure.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to translate technical concepts into business value propositions.
- Proficiency in creating technical documentation and solution architecture diagrams.
- Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals, or similar, are a plus.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with other Microsoft technologies, such as Azure, Dynamics 365, and Power Platform.
- Familiarity with competing collaboration and productivity tools from vendors such as Google, Slack, and Zoom.
- Project management skills and experience in overseeing M365 deployments and migrations.
Preferred Education & Experience:
- Information Technology degree or equivalent is a must
- Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer designation, preferred • Microsoft certifications in Azure and 365 are highly desirable
- minimum of 5 Years work experience.
- Experience in delivering presentations and demos
Documenting proposals, RFPs, and RFIs
