Job Description
Role Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive E-Commerce Operations Specialist to oversee and optimize the day-to-day operations of our online store. This role ensures the smooth flow of orders, coordinates between internal teams and platforms, manages inventory syncs, and provides operational support to enhance the customer experience and improve efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and conduct order fulfillment processes across all online platforms (e.g., website, Amazon, Jumia, etc.)
- Track daily order flow and ensure timely shipping and delivery.
- Coordinate with logistics providers and customer service to resolve shipping or delivery issues.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels across all platforms and work with the warehouse team to
avoid overselling or stockouts.
- Support product uploads, categorization, tagging, and pricing updates on the website and
marketplaces.
- Oversee returns, exchanges, and refund processing with proper documentation.
- Analyze operational bottlenecks and recommend improvements to reduce costs and increase
speed.
- Assist with setting up discount codes, flash sales, and operational settings for campaigns.
- Collaborate with the customer support team to handle escalated issues and improve post-sale
processes.
- Create and maintain operational reports (orders, returns, stock movement, delivery
performance). KPIs & Success Metrics:
- Order fulfillment accuracy rate
- Average shipping time
- Platform uptime / listing accuracy
- Stock discrepancy rate
- Customer satisfaction / complaint resolution rate
- Return handling time
Job Requirements
Requirements:
- Min of 2-3 years of experience in e-commerce or operations.
- Familiarity with Shopify is a must
- Must be in Cairo, Egypt
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
- Must know how to manage online inventories
