Job Description
- Oversee and optimize daily production operations to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met.
- Analyze production processes and implement improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including maintenance, quality assurance, and supply chain to resolve production issues.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for manufacturing processes.
- Monitor equipment performance and coordinate preventive maintenance schedules.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies within the production area.
- Prepare and present production reports, metrics, and analysis to management.
- Support the introduction of new products and technologies into the production line.
- Train and mentor production staff on best practices and process improvements.
- Identify and implement lean manufacturing initiatives to drive continuous improvement.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in a production or manufacturing engineering role.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and workflow optimization.
- Proven ability to analyze data and implement process improvements.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with safety and quality standards in a manufacturing environment.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience with lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
