Job Description
- Managing the Production Process:
- Oversee the daily production operations to ensure adherence to production plans.
- Monitor the technical and operational processes to meet production goals.
- Coordinate with various teams, such as quality control, maintenance, and planning, to ensure smooth workflow.
- Data Analysis and Process Improvement:
- Collect and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement in efficiency and cost reduction.
- Apply continuous improvement methods (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) to enhance production processes.
- Identify root causes of production issues and implement appropriate solutions.
- Equipment Management and Maintenance:
- Supervise equipment maintenance to ensure high operational efficiency and minimize unplanned downtime.
- Coordinate with the maintenance team to implement preventive maintenance and resolve breakdowns promptly.
- Monitor and inspect tools and equipment to ensure readiness for production.
- Quality Assurance:
- Work with the quality control team to ensure products meet required standards and specifications.
- Ensure the application of quality standards at all stages of production, from raw materials to the final product.
- Monitor quality during production and ensure that required quality tests are applied.
- Report Preparation and Documentation:
- Prepare regular reports on production progress and submit them to management.
- Record data related to production, raw materials, and equipment.
- Document any production issues and solutions implemented.
- Staff Management and Training:
- Guide and train production teams on equipment usage, best practices, and safety standards.
- Monitor staff performance and provide direction to improve productivity.
- Focus on developing employee skills in production to enhance efficiency.
- Inventory and Material Management:
- Monitor raw material inventory to ensure availability for production needs.
- Coordinate with the purchasing department to ensure timely procurement of materials in the required quantity.
- Safety Compliance:
- Ensure all production activities are conducted following safety procedures.
- Ensure the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) by all personnel in the production area.
- Conduct regular safety risk assessments and implement measures to minimize risks.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering,
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a production or manufacturing engineering role Injection Department.
- Very Good to Excellent proficiency in English (spoken and written).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for cross-functional collaboration.
