This is a pivotal role that combines deep technical expertise, leadership, and client engagement to ensure successful project outcomes and innovation.ResponsibilitiesKey ResponsibilitiesLeadership & People ManagementLead, manage, and develop a high-performing team of Solution Architects, providing coaching, technical guidance, and career development support.Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and technical excellence.Act as a role model for technical leadership and promote knowledge-sharing across teams.Technical Delivery & AccountabilityOwn and drive the end-to-end technical delivery of large-scale, complex projects, ensuring solutions are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality.Ensure architectural decisions meet business requirements while remaining scalable, secure, and efficient.Identify and implement opportunities for technical innovation, automation, and process optimisation to improve project outcomes and delivery efficiency.Client Engagement & Relationship ManagementServe as a senior technical point of contact for clients, building trusted relationships and ensuring alignment between technical delivery and client expectations.Translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable plans and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Project CollaborationCollaborate closely with Project Managers and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of projects, managing risks, dependencies, and change.Provide regular updates on technical progress, risks, and mitigation plans to senior leadership and project stakeholders.Continuous Improvement & InnovationLead technical assessments and recommend best-fit solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture principles and business strategy.Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends, bringing innovative ideas to drive business value and efficiency.QualificationsKey RequirementsEducation & QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Relevant technical certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure, TOGAF) are desirable.ExperienceMinimum 10+ years of experience in software engineering and architecture, with at least 3+ years in a leadership or principal role.Proven track record of delivering large-scale, complex technology projects in fast-paced big data environments.Extensive full-stack technical knowledge across front-end, back-end, cloud, and DevOps.Technical SkillsDeep expertise in full-stack development, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and modern software architecture patterns (microservices, APIs, containerisation).Strong understanding of automation, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.Ability to evaluate and implement emerging technologies and innovative solutions.Leadership & Communication SkillsDemonstrated ability to lead and inspire technical teams.Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to manage client expectations and influence decision-making.Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical solutions to non-technical audiences.What We Look ForIf you are a performance-driven, inquisitive mind with the agility to adapt to ambiguity, you will fit right in.
