Product Development Manager - Arabic

The Product Development Manager- Arabic is a key role - working in partnership with cross-functional teams to create and deliver Arabic content in line with Alef Education’s Arabic content strategy. He/she is responsible for ensuring successful release of our digital products aimed at helping learners make progressHe/she will plan, resource, and coordinate the various development tasks to ensure the delivery of digital course content on time and to quality standard expectation.Key Responsibilities:Provide project leadership for product and content development efforts and activities, including: ensure content development guidelines are adhered to; scope, plan, resource and manage content development over the lifecycle of given projects; provide clear direction for what needs to be done to meet KPIs; supervise instructional design and quality assurance activities; provide day-to-day direction for projects and tasks; follow and effective coordination and coherence across the division and department.Provide operational management and oversight of content projects including: collaboration with the subject leads to ensure that content workflows and processes are established and resourced appropriately to ensure timely delivery of quality content for publication; follow up with external vendors on milestone delivery; Coordinate with the product development leads in all administration and management for onboarding freelance and vendor resources; manage internal and external contributor resources across different publishing streams; ensure flexible and adaptable ways of working; management and oversight of project plans and budgets; risk and issue management.Monitor and ensure publishing metrics and requirements are met, including setting agreeing and reviewing KPIs.Qualifications & Experience Required:Educational degree(s): Bachelor in Education, Arabic Literature, Publishing or any other related fieldLanguages: Fluency in both Arabic and English are requiredYears of experience: 7 years + in Publishing, EdTech or Arabic writing/Editorial developing and/or managing Arabic content development in the Education field. Regional experience: Experienced with developing Arabic content for the Middle East region. Familiar with local cultures and educational requirementsIndustry experience: Project management and Publishing/content industry in educational content experience required
