By offering the best and broadest portfolio of engineering simulation software, Ansys helps companies solve the most complex design challenges and engineer products limited only by imagination.Job Summary:The Finance Director will be responsible for the overall financial strategy, management, and operations of the Group of Companies, covering multiple business units across the UAE, KSA, Egypt, and Bulgaria. Reporting directly to the COO, the Finance Director will ensure the financial health, sustainability, and compliance of the group, while providing strategic direction to support growth and expansion.Key Responsibilities:Group Financial LeadershipLead the consolidated financial management of the Group of Companies, ensuring accurate reporting and financial control across all subsidiaries.Develop group-wide financial strategies aligned with long-term business objectives and growth plans.Provide financial insights and recommendations to the COO and Board to support decision-making.Oversee group-level budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning.Financial Management & ReportingEnsure timely preparation and consolidation of financial statements across all group entities in compliance with IFRS and local statutory regulations (UAE, KSA, Egypt, Bulgaria, etc.).Monitor the financial performance of each subsidiary and present consolidated reports to the COO and the Board.Implement effective cost-control measures and optimize group-wide financial efficiency.Compliance, Audit & Risk ManagementEnsure group-wide compliance with tax, VAT and statutory requirements in all jurisdictions.Manage group relationships with external auditors, financial institutions, and regulators.Establish effective internal controls and risk management frameworks to safeguard company assets.Treasury & Cash FlowManage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity across multiple geographies.Oversee banking relationships and financing arrangements.Drive cost optimization, capital structuring, and investment strategies.Team Leadership & DevelopmentLead and mentor finance teams.Build a high-performing centralised finance function that partners effectively with business units.Foster collaboration and knowledge sharing across the group’s finance departments.Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.Business PartnershipCollaborate with the COO, CEO and other department heads to support operational and commercial initiatives.Provide financial input for strategic projects including new market entry, and restructuring.Act as a trusted advisor to senior management and the Board on all financial matters.RequirementsEducation & Professional QualificationsEducation: Master’s in finance, MBA, or equivalent.Professional certifications: CPA, ACCA, CFA, CMA or equivalent.Relevant Experience15+ years overall finance/accounting experience, with at least 5–7 years in a senior leadership role (Finance Director, Head of Finance, CFO, or equivalent).Experience managing multi-country operations (preferably including UAE, KSA, Egypt, Europe).Proven track record in financial planning, budgeting, treasury, and risk management.Experience with corporate governance, compliance, and audit.Leadership & Management SkillsDemonstrated ability to lead finance team.Strong experience in board-level reporting & stakeholder management.Track record of building teams, mentoring talent, and driving performance.Decision-making ability under pressure, with strong problem-solving skills.Industry & Market KnowledgePreferably from IT industryKnowledge of regional tax regulations, VAT, etc.Soft Skills & Personal AttributesHigh integrity and ethical standards.Excellent communication and presentation skillsCross-cultural adaptability (since role spans UAE, KSA, Egypt, Bulgaria).Strong negotiation skills with banks, auditors, and external partners.
