Role Summary
The Logistics Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing the entire supply chain cycle—from receiving goods to final delivery—while optimizing efficiency, reducing costs, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day transportation, delivery, and distribution operations.
Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and clients to ensure seamless logistics flows.
Continuously improve supply chain efficiency and identify cost-reduction opportunities.
Develop and enforce operational and logistics policies and procedures.
Oversee delivery schedules, storage, and inventory control.
Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as delivery time, order accuracy, and shipping costs.
Ensure compliance with logistics, transport, and safety regulations.
Prepare regular performance reports for senior management, highlighting challenges and proposing solutions.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
Professional certifications such as
CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional)
CLTD (Certified in Logistics, Transportation, and Distribution) are a plus.
Experience
Practical experience managing logistics operations within Saudi Arabia or the Gulf region.
Strong background in inventory and warehouse systems.
Preference for candidates who worked in delivery, fulfillment, or e-commerce environments.
Skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong analytical thinking for cost tracking and operational decision-making.
Leadership capabilities in managing cross-functional field teams.
Proficiency with Excel, Google Workspace, ERP, or WMS tools.
Effective communication skills with internal departments and external stakeholders.
