This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a growing team on high profile projects within in UAE.Key ResponsibilitiesPre and post contract commercial supportManagement of bonds, insurances and guarantee logsReview of interim valuations and payment certificatesChange ManagementReview of variations and preparation of recommendationsPreparation and review of estimatesAssisting in risk and value management and cost control functionsAssisting in identifying, analysing and developing responses to commercial risksAssisting in preparation of progress/ cost reportsReporting to Project Director on all commercial issuesUnderstanding the implications of health and safety regulationsAttendance and representation at commercial meetings.Experiences And QualificationsDegree in Quantity Surveying from recognized UniversityRelevant Experience in Pre and post contract, Commercial Processes, strong admin and QAQC reviewing skills, managing change control process, client facing, knowledge of local market would be a preferable.Min 15+ years in pre and post-contract (change management is essential) relevant capacity in contracts and commercial managementMRICS mandatoryExperience of managing teams and client facingMeasurement and quantification of building and infrastructure worksCost estimating of building and infrastructure elementsMust have previous experience of FIDIC ContractsProject experience must be broad and include Hospitality, Residential, Leisure and Infrastructure;Must have consultant and/or client background for minimum of 3 yearsMust have minimum of 3 years Middle East experienceShould be based in UAEKnowledge in the use of QS software Cost-X or similar is preferable;Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills;Possess good project background and proven English language technical writing ability and skills.Rewards And BenefitsWe offer an excellent package which includes.
