Job Description SummaryThis role will serve as the Executive Finance Leader for Procurement & AP, Logistics & Fulfillment, and Facilities & Real Estate. This role will lead a talented group of Senior Finance Managers & teams, including Supply Chain Operations and Logistics Finance, Global Sourcing Finance, and Global Source to Pay & Fixed Assets.Job DescriptionProvide Finance expertise and leadership along with operational partnership across multiple critical areas of the global supply chain, including Procurement & AP, Logistics & Fulfillment, and Facilities & Real Estate.Manager of managers for multiple teams of finance professionals across key supply chain areas noted above.Drive programs, insights, and implement & improve processes to achieve sourcing and variable cost productivity targets, company-wide cost-controls, partner on supplier negotiations, commodity purchasing & hedging, and other key elements within Sourcing and procurement. Partner with Chief Procurement Officer.Drive programs, insights, and implement & improve processes related to source-to-pay and Accounts Payable processes. Lead global team to executive and improve supplier payment processes. Implement and refine new global system for standardization of payment process.Drive programs, insights, and implement & improve processes to achieve logistics productivity targets. Strategically analyze opportunities to lower logistics expense, lower inventory, while also improving on-time delivery. Partner with Global Logistics Executive Director and global teams.Drive programs, insights, and implement & improve processes around facilities operations and real estate investment & footprint rationalization. Partner with Global Real Estate leader and teams to manage Capex, develop & analyze project ROI, and support execution of strategic real estate and facilities operations visions for the total company.Has major influence on the global GEHC supply chain and business.Leads others to find creative solutions to address complex problems that may impact the organization. Has the ability to evaluate quality of information received and questions conflicting data for analysis. Uses multiple internal and external resources outside of own function to help arrive at a decisionRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree (Economics, Finance, Accounting, etc.) from an accredited university or collegeMinimum of 12 years of experience in Finance, preferably in large, global organizationsDemonstrated ability to lead large teams, including manager of managers.Experience building and motivating a team, setting a vision and driving change across the organization, cross-functionallyExperience managing multiple priorities and Executive stakeholdersStrong oral and written communication skills.Ability to communicate financial & operational performance, business insights, and strategic recommendations at the C-suite levelAbility to build/create new processes that can be automated/repeatable and comfortable navigating financial/non-financial systemsDesired CharacteristicsGraduate of GE’s Financial Management Program (FMP), Operations Finance Leadership Program (OFLP) or Corporate Audit Staff (CAS); or graduate of other financial leadership programs3+ years of experience in Supply chain finance, including sourcing, facilities, operations, logistics, etc.Advanced degree and/or strong evidence of continuing education and learningExperience with customers and/or suppliers, including strong influence & negotiation skillsUtilizes technical expertise and judgement to solve problems. Leverages technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence others and drive change while working across a variety of stakeholders.Adaptable, flexible.
