Job Description
Market Development
· Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the oil & gas sector, focusing on well services, intervention, and completion markets.
· Conduct market research to understand regional trends, competitor activities, and customer needs within Abu Dhabi and the wider UAE.
Client Relationship Management
· Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at oil companies, national oil companies (NOCs), and service partners.
· Represent the company in client meetings, industry events, and conferences to enhance brand visibility.
Sales & Commercial Strategy
· Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve sales targets and revenue growth.
· Lead proposal development, tender submissions, and contract negotiations in coordination with internal teams.
· Track and manage the sales pipeline, ensuring regular reporting and forecasting.
Strategic Partnerships
· Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships, joint ventures, or alliances that align with Deep Well Services' growth plans in the region.
· Engage with local partners to navigate regulatory requirements and in-country value (ICV) considerations.
Collaboration & Reporting
· Collaborate closely with operations, technical, and management teams to ensure alignment on client needs and service delivery.
· Provide regular reports and market intelligence to senior management regarding business development activities and market dynamics.
Requirements-
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
· Minimum of 7 years of business development experience in the oilfield services sector, with a strong understanding of well intervention, completion, or drilling services.
· Proven track record of winning business and developing relationships in the UAE, particularly with ADNOC and other Abu Dhabi-based operators.
· Established network within the Abu Dhabi energy sector is highly desirable.
· Strong commercial acumen with experience in tendering, contract negotiation, and sales strategy development.
· Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
· Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working independently.
· Fluent in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
· Willingness to travel within the UAE and occasionally internationally as required.
