Jumeirah is synonymous with Arabian luxury hospitality and the ability to craft distinctive, purposeful experiences for the world’s most discerning travellers.About The JobAn opportunity has arisen for a Director - Architecture, to join the Architecture and Spatial Design teamin Jumeirah Group & Corporate. The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:Lead design direction and scope development for new builds, refurbishments, and PIPs, ensuring alignment with Jumeirah’s brand identity and guest experience standards.Oversee and approve all design submissions including architectural, landscape, interior, FF&E, signage, and materials, ensuring quality and brand consistency.Conduct site appraisals and recommend qualified design consultants, contributing to strategic project planning and execution.Manage multiple projects through all phases—from feasibility to opening—monitoring timelines, identifying risks, and ensuring milestone delivery.Liaise with owners, technical services, and consultants to coordinate design development, mock-ups, and reviews while ensuring compliance with sustainability standards (e.g., LEED, BREEAM).Provide regular updates and reports to senior leadership, maintaining accurate documentation and driving innovation through design research and trend analysis.About YouThe ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field required; Master's in Architecture or Business Administration preferred.10–12 years of experience in luxury design, ideally within hospitality, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.Proficient in Microsoft Office (Advanced), AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite; skilled in interpreting architectural, MEP, and construction documents.Demonstrated expertise in space planning, project management, and maintaining design quality across complex, multi-phase projects.Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and collaboration skills with a proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and uphold luxury brand standards.About The BenefitsWe offer an attractive tax-free salary, paid in Dirhams (AED), the local currency of the UAE.
