Summary
Responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key retail partners, driving sales growth, and ensuring the effective execution of business plans within a specific channel. This role involves developing and implementing sales strategies, negotiating trade terms, managing promotions, and monitoring performance to achieve revenue targets and enhance market share
Relationship Management
Cultivating and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers at modern trade retailers.
Sales Strategy & Execution
Developing and executing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets, increase market share, and maximize product visibility within the assigned accounts.
Negotiation
Negotiating trade terms, promotional support, and joint business plans with retail partners, ensuring alignment with company objectives and delivering mutual value.
Promotions & Activation
Planning and executing promotional activities, in-store visibility programs, and other marketing initiatives to drive sales and brand awareness.
Performance Monitoring & Analysis
Tracking sales performance, analyzing market trends, and identifying areas for improvement or new opportunities within the assigned accounts.
Collaboration
Working closely with internal teams such as trade marketing, marketing, supply chain, and finance to ensure seamless execution of strategies and achieve objectives.
New Product Launches
Supporting the launch of new products by providing market insights, coordinating promotional activities, and ensuring product availability.
Joint Business Planning
Collaborating with key accounts to develop and execute joint business plans, including setting KPIs, reviewing performance, and identifying areas for growth.
Account Management
Managing all aspects of assigned modern trade accounts, including profit and loss responsibility, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
5+ years of experience in key account management, preferably within the FMCG or consumer goods industry managing Key Accounts
Proven track record of managing large modern trade accounts and delivering strong sales growth.
Strong negotiation, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of ERP/CRM tools is a plus.
Arabic Speaker is a plus
