We stay up-to-date with the latest technology developments to guarantee an outstanding outcome.Job DescriptionWe’re seeking an entry and mid-level Project Coordinator to join our Construction department's Project Management team. The role involves supporting the team to ensure smooth processes and meeting construction cost targets. The Project Coordinator will interface with the project organization, subcontractors, and construction suppliers.The ideal candidate will collaborate effectively within a team, generate new ideas independently and collaboratively, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include involvement in pre-construction and construction phases, such as Project Estimation & Bidding, Permit Submission, RFI’s, and coordination with other departments on projects.ResponsibilitiesProvide administrative support to the construction project team, including document management, project scheduling, and coordination of meetings and communications.Assist with the preparation of project proposals, contracts, and change orders.Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and process invoices.Review and approve subcontractor and supplier invoices.Prepare and maintain project reports, logs, and other project-related documentation.Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure project schedules are met.Assist with the preparation and submission of project closeout documentation.Review shop drawings, manuals, warranties, and other project and post-construction submittals for approval and distribution.Generate weekly reports communicating the status of construction projects and highlighting any deviations from the plan.Provide support to the project team during the construction phase, including maintaining project files and distributing construction documents.Ensure compliance with all project-specific requirements, including safety, quality, and environmental regulations.Provide biddability/constructability review (quality control review) during final design stages.SkillsDetail-oriented with an eye for data discrepancies.Strong construction, design, and technical skills, with excellent written and verbal English communication skills.Project Management experience is preferred.Experience with bidding, estimation, procurement, and pricing.Self-oriented, and motivated, with the desire to learn and grow quickly.Familiarity with different phases of construction.Proficiency in software and platforms such as Autodesk Construction Cloud, Procore, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Primavera, and Navisworks is preferred.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture or equivalent is required.Proficiency in the application of architectural design and construction standards, practices, techniques, and concepts.Ability to read and interpret construction documents and technical drawings.Knowledge of BIM.Proficiency in digital estimating software (On-Screen Takeoff) or a willingness to learn is required.Proficiency in bidding software platforms (BuildingConnected) or similar bidding software, or a willingness to learn is required.
