Job Description
- Develop comprehensive project plans and schedules in collaboration with project managers and stakeholders.
- Utilize industry-standard project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project) to create and maintain project schedules.
- Identify critical path activities, milestones, and dependencies to ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Conduct schedule analysis to identify potential risks, delays, and opportunities for optimization.
- Collaborate with project teams to develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans for schedule-related issues.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to project stakeholders, highlighting key milestones, risks, and deviations from the schedule.
- Analyze schedule performance metrics and recommend adjustments as necessary to optimize project timelines and resource allocation.
- Review subcontractor schedules and integrate them into the overall project schedule, ensuring alignment with project requirements.
- Participate in project meetings and provide insights and recommendations on schedule-related matters.
- Ensure compliance with project schedule requirements, contractual obligations, and industry standards.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Planning and Scheduling Engineer in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of construction project management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and address schedule-related challenges.
- 5 to 12 years of experience
