Job Description

Quality Assurance and Inspection: Conduct thorough inspections of welding activities, ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and specifications such as ASME, AWS, and ISO. This involves inspecting welds visually and using various testing methods like non-destructive testing (NDT) techniques such as ultrasonic testing (UT), magnetic particle testing (MT), dye penetrant testing (PT), and radiographic testing (RT). Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of welding procedures, inspection results, and any deviations from standards. Prepare comprehensive inspection reports documenting findings, including any defects or non-conformities observed, and recommend corrective actions. Welding Procedure Review: Review and approve welding procedures and specifications to ensure they meet regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Provide guidance to welding personnel on proper welding techniques, procedures, and equipment usage. On-Site Monitoring: Conduct on-site inspections at various stages of welding projects, including pre-welding preparations, during welding operations, and post-welding examinations. Monitor welding parameters, material handling, and welder qualifications to ensure compliance with project requirements. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with project managers, engineers, welding supervisors, and other stakeholders to address welding-related issues, resolve discrepancies, and implement corrective actions. Communicate effectively with all involved parties to ensure understanding and compliance with inspection findings and recommendations. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures while performing inspections and working in industrial environments. Identify potential safety hazards associated with welding activities and take appropriate measures to mitigate risks. RequirementsMechanical Engineering Degree or EquivalentShould have CSWIP 3.2.2, NACE 1-COR, BGas. ERS Level 2 or equivalent & ASNTLevel II in UT, MT, PT and FT film interpretation.Should have minimum 10 years experience in Oil & Gas Project. (minimum 5 years offshore experience is mandatory)Benefits16000 +Food, Accomodation & Transportation
