Project Controller

You as a Project controller will be part of Hitachi Energy business based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Finance Business Partners advise and support the Senior Project Controllers, Project Managers and Operating Business Unit management in areas related to treasury functions. Responsibilities may include letters of Credit; Bank Guarantees; Cash Collection and other project specific tasks, working independently with limited supervision.Your ResponsibilitiesLC review upon receipt of LCs from customers - advise on acceptability / changes required to PCs / PMs.Preparing of LC documents as commercial invoices, delivery notes, etc. in coordination with PCs and PMs, Covering letters, Bill of Exchange, authorized signatories etc. for negotiation of LC documents.Coordinating with GBS / follow-up with Banks on LC negotiation progress and for accepted LC bills discounting.Maintaining lists of available LCs, advising PMs for timely extension of LCs and list of LCs under negotiation.Preparing OCF estimates.Inviting and conducting cash collection calls with PCs / PMs / OU Management.Preparing bank guarantee requests in coordination with PMs / PCs.Inviting for and conduct Bank guarantee follow-up calls with PCs / PMs / OU Management.Following up for timely collection and cancellation of bank guarantees in coordination with PMs / PCs.Supporting with Pro MIS and coordinating, following up on timely time sheet booking and coordinating 3rd Party vendor payment proposals and Hitachi Energy Cash-in-Time, also with project controlling tasksLiving Hitachi Energy’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.Your backgroundA bachelor’s or master’s degree in relevant field is required.Minimum 4+ years of experience in banking sector is preferred.Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.Basic Info Location Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia Job type Full time Experience Experienced Job function Finance Contract Regular Publication date 2024-03-12 Reference number R0039092Share this job
