Job Description
Role PurposeAddress and resolve technical and POS software issues along with POS software setups for new location installations. The role will also support with any IT-related needs of Cool Inc.AccountabilitiesAct as the POS support liaison between Corporate, POS Vendor, and venue locationsProvide onsite and remote support for POS including configuration, monitoring, and customization, and end-user trainingConduct both the Root cause and analysis, all while providing venue systems POS supportProvide full Desktop Support Services for back-office employees (hardware, software, and mobile device)Support in installation, relocation, and re-installation of IT equipment when requiredDevelop and improve documentation to support problem analysis and resolutionWorks together with the IT team to develop and modify systems to meet current and future needsKeep track of IT assets on monthly basisAddress guests’ IT related maintenance requests on ad hoc basisRequirementsEducation:Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related fieldExperience2 – 3 years of experience in similar positionAbility to work well under pressure and adapt to changes in project prioritiesDemonstrated functional and technical knowledge in Oracle Simphony POS (MICROS POS)Experience in solving business problems with software and technology2+ years' experience in F&B implementations and delivery is preferredExperience supporting restaurants reservation systems is preferredKnowledge of Oracle Symphony POS (MICROS POS).Basic knowledge of TCP/IP NetworkingMust have experience in troubleshooting network issues in a small LAN network
