We are currently looking to hire a “Medical Provider Senior Officer - Network department”, the job holder will Conduct & manage Network Operations which includes the development & maintenance of the health care service provider network of MedNet in accord with the business plan.Your Job:Maintaining on-going benchmarks of MedNet’s network capabilities against best-in-class competition in the marketMaintaining MedNet’s network competitiveness by expanding the network access locally, regionally, and internationally, as required by business needs.Conducting provider credentialing and new provider tariff negotiations. Lead the identification, selection, evaluation, negotiation, contracting and re - contracting process of health care service providers within the established corporate guidelines to ensure that all services are provided cost efficiently in accord to defined quality standards and procedures ensuring optimum protection Munich Health’s business interests.Handling provider requests for tariff revisions, to ensure a continued and sustained competitive edge to MedNet.Monthly network list preparation and dispatch to Clients. Segregation as per individual client specificationsConduct Provider trainings /orientation programs effectively.Upon the successful induction of a new provider to the network, the provider contracting staff shall handover of new provider relations to the ‘Provider relations team’, including structured introduction of the provider (for on-going interactions).Review policy manual and network agreements in an on-going basis and recommend changes when the existing protocols are found to be outdated.Prepare tariff revision reports in a timely manner for Network Manager’s approval.Lead various projects assigned by Team Leader/Network ManagerFulfill all other Network assignments / projects assigned by the head of the Department.Your profile:Medical doctor or Diploma in Hospital Administration / Allied healthcare sciences like Physiotherapy, Nursing, Radiology or Laboratory technician.2 years in a network environment in the TPA/medical insurance sector preferably in the Gulf region.Computer literacy (MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint)Knowledge related to medical terminology / ICD & CPT CodesIndustry knowledge related to local healthcare services system. Good interpersonal and negotiation skills Excellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong leadership, planning and organizational skillsAnalytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to handle stress. Attention to details.
