Job Description

Our partner is the parent company behind innovative consumer brands, dedicated to delivering exceptional products and experiences. They are looking to hire a Dubai based remote operations specialist for their e-commerce operations. The Operations specialist will oversee day-to-day operations across their brands, ensuring seamless customer support, inventory management, and supplier relations. You will be the linchpin that keeps the order pipeline flowing smoothly, our customers delighted, and our suppliers engaged. This remote role is for candidates located in Dubai with a valid visa in the UAE (no visa will be provided)Key ResponsibilitiesDay-to-Day Oversight:Manage daily operational issues and workflows.Oversee customer service (CS) activities, ensuring timely and accurate resolution of inquiries and issues.Coordinate with cross-functional teams (marketing, finance, fulfillment) to align on priorities.Inventory & Supply Chain Management:Monitor inventory levels across all product lines; forecast demand to prevent stockouts or overstock.Liaise with suppliers to place orders, track deliveries, and negotiate terms.Implement processes for receiving, inspection, and storage of goods.Supplier Relationship Development:Build and maintain strong relationships with current and potential suppliers.Conduct regular performance reviews and drive continuous improvement (lead times, quality, cost).Source new suppliers when needed to support growth or diversify risk.Process Improvement & Reporting:Identify operational bottlenecks and implement solutions to increase efficiency.Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare regular reports on CS metrics, inventory turns, and supplier performance.Enforce SOPs and ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations.Qualifications & SkillsProven track record managing customer service and inventory processes end-to-end.Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills with suppliers and vendors.Excellent analytical skills and proficiency with inventory management systemsExceptional communication skills in English; Arabic fluency is a big plus.Highly organized, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
