It requires active management to leverage this flow as well as to add alpha through directional positioning of the portfolio.PURPOSE OF JOB Market making and risk managing of g10 rates and fx products from o/n to 50yr.RV model development and generation of alpha overlay strategiesMentoring/training of junior staff members.Produce market commentary and colour to sales teams and FAB senior management Job AccountabilitiesResponsible for adhering to assigned risk and stop loss limitsResponsible for meeting financial and business objectives set by the Head of FX & Rates ProductsEnsure compliance with all appropriate limits including counterparty limitsIdentify and analyze new product opportunitiesEnsure swift and consistent pricing to all internal and external customersExpand Counterparty awareness of our capabilities to attract new flows and limitsEnsure learning framework in place for team members to develop with appropriate teaching schedule and coursesQualificationsREQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS Minimum 5 years of market making g3 interest rate swaps or xccyProven track record of generating alphaStrong analytical and communication skillsProficiency in programming languages (Python, SQL)BSc/MSc in highly numerate subjectExperience in mentoring junior talent COMPETENCIESHighly numericalHighly analytical and able to process substantial amounts of information in a timely mannerTechnically proficient in python/SQL/C+ and able to build and support trading modelsCompetent teacher
