Job Description: As Security Operations Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of security solutions. Your day-to-day activities will include managing project timelines, ensuring quality delivery, and providing technical guidance. You must have expert proficiency in Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) Operations specifically Microsoft Sentinel. Manage project timelines and ensure quality delivery of security solutions. Provide technical guidance and support to project teams. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks. Ensure compliance with security policies and standards. Job Qualifications: Extensive experience in Security operations, designing, building and maintaining SIEM solutions, Running security operations using leading SIEM solutions such as Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, etc.Extensive experience leading and managing time critical, complex / large scale projects related to Security operations Center (SOC) strategies, assessments, transformational and implementation projects, and management activities.Strong experience in Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) / SOC Operations, and cloud security solutions.Experience running/ leading teams across geographies, act as an escalation point for SOC L1/L2 analysts.Experience in providing recommendation on security principles and best practices related to Microsoft Sentinel. Guidance on developing new Sentinel use cases, rules, correlations, and dashboards to meet customer needs, Guidance on Sentinel sizing, Architecture, onboard/offboard log sources.Sound applied and theoretical knowledge of cyber security principles based on industry standards and frameworks such as ISO 27001/27002, NIST, SANS20 controls, etc.Practical experience /reviewing security architecture and provide recommendations for enhancing solutions against industry/company standards.Solid understanding of security concepts like IT GRC, SIEM, Security Architecture, infrastructure complying to Industry standards.A working understanding of security technologies, latest threats and vulnerabilities across IT environment.Good analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent communication and influencing skills.Bachelor's and/or post graduate degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related major.Possess excellent, engaging, and persuasive communication / presentation skills (oral & written) to business stakeholders and senior leaders; both 1:1 and large audience.Proven management experience managing matrixed teams and being a role model, mentor, and coach.Certifications like CISSP, CISA, CISM, GSEC, GCIH, etc.
