If you are not contacted by us within that time, please consider your application unsuccessful on this occasion.***Key aspects of the role include:Lead and monitor the level of compliance with HSA resolutions.Represent the company in Shari’a compliance-related matters.Review new policies and procedures, and approve all activities, products, and services to be executed ensuring in line with Shari’a compliance requirements.Ensure all departments are operating within the Shari'a framework.Manage a team of professionals providing guidance and support to improve awareness and level of compliance knowledge and related skills.Prepare, submit, and discuss compliance reports with the key stakeholders.Provide Shari’a consultation to the management and business units on the structures of all new activities, products, and services to be executed as per ISSC and HSA resolutions.Responsible for reviewing and approving all company’s marketing materials and campaigns.Build and maintain a positive working relationship with regulatory authorities.Coordinate with the litigation department in the legal Division to provide the needed Shari’a views in legal cases.Provide guidance and support to staff to improve awareness and level of Shari’a knowledge.Perform other duties as assigned by the management.To be successful you will need to meet the following:Bachelor’s degree.Minimum 10 years in Shari’a-related functions in Islamic banking.In-depth knowledge of banking and Islamic banking products.Strong knowledge of AAOIFI Shari’a Standards.Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic.Applicants should be available for face-to-face interviews in the location mentioned above.***We check all applications and suitable candidates will be contacted within 5 working days.
