Your primary responsibility will be to manage the accounting functions of the insurance brokerage firm, leveraging your expertise to optimize financial processes and provide strategic insights to senior management.????????????????????????????????????????????????????????, ???????????????????????? & ????????????????????????????????????????:A bachelor's degree in finance or a related field, such as economics, accounting, or business.Holder of CA or a CPA or an ACCA5– 10 years of experience in the role of Finance head in an insurance brokerage company???????????? ????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????:Oversee and assess the performance of the accounts team within a division focused on expansion and maintaining relationships with insurance providers.Collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate month-end closure adhering to stringent deadlines.Identify and grasp the strategic objectives, implement financial policies, and assist in establishing and enforcing internal controls.Facilitate communication with external and internal auditors, ensuring audits are completed promptly.Ensure compliance with VAT laws, timely filing of returns, and proficiency in generating reports for regulatory bodies such as the Insurance Authority and Central Bank of UAE.Manage banking relationships, conduct monthly bank reconciliations, and ensure prompt payment of expenses by cash flow positions.Prepare payment proposals, execute payments, and allocate policies, accordingly, including commission payments for sub-brokers in both life and general insurance.Quarterly closure of accounts, including reconciling with insurance companies, and managing to invoice for life accounts while maintaining reserve accounts for life agents.Oversee schedules for gratuity, accruals, and depreciation.
