Fairmont The Palm also features an expansive pool and beach area with a health club, Willow Stream Spa and the Fairmont Falcons Kids’ Club.Job DescriptionDevelop a marketing communications plan including strategy, goals, budget and tacticsDevelop media relations strategy, seeking high-level placements in print, broadcast and online mediaCoordinate all public relations activitiesDirect social media team to engage audiences across traditional and new mediaLeverage existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts within business and industry mediaManage media inquiries and interview requestsCreate content for press releases, byline articles and keynote presentationsMonitor, analyze and communicate PR results on a monthly basisEvaluate opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships and advertising on an on-going basis.Build relationships with thought leaders to grow industry awarenessMaintain a keen understanding of industry trends affecting clients and make appropriate recommendations regarding communication strategy surrounding themManage photo and video shoots, conduct location scouts and site tours for mediaProcess financial documentation to secure outsourced work with agencies and other external suppliersWrite basic ad copy for business communicationsProject manage marketing campaigns in conjunction with Spa, Food & Beverage and Sales departments to ensure profit growth and brand exposure.Manage the supply chain process and timelinesServe as a brand guardian and ensure all consumer-facing communications follow the brand standardsLiaise with appointed agencies, supplying a written creative brief with specific communication objectives, target market and any additional information as required and ensuring that the stakeholders are kept aware of all progress.Proof-read all communication materials to ensure the brand tone of voice is followed.Assist the Director of Marketing and PR in executing the resort business objectivesOccasionally design in-house collateral including flyers, menus, posters, and hotel screen bannersOther tasks as assignedQualificationsProven working experience in public relations requiredProven track record designing and executing successful public relations campaigns at both a local and national levelStrong relationships with both local and national business and industry media outletsExperience in acting as a company spokesperson; comfortable and skilled in both broadcast and print media interviewsExceptional writing and editing skillsSolid experience with social media including blogs, Facebook, Twitter, etc.Event planning experienceBA/MA degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or a related disciplineMinimum 2 years experience in the Public Relations or related professional areaAn experienced PR expert, a dynamic and self-driven, creative individualStrong luxury hotel background / luxury brand background is preferredFluency in English, written and spokenAdditional InformationVisa Requirements: Please note that you must be eligible to live and work in Dubai.Why work for Accor?We are far more than a worldwide leader.
