Job Description

Cultiv is looking to hire a Business Writer.

  • This is a full-time position, effective immediately.

  • Professional writing and editing of proposals that identify key trends
  • Providing key background knowledge in proposals and reports as well as strategic solutions
  • Updating proposals and reports based on emerging research or changing protocol
  • Ensuring that all documentation (both new and old) is preserved and properly filed
  • Coordinating proposal development
  • Handle multiple revisions, edit and re-edit proposal sections as needed, and ensure that proposals maintain a consistent tone or voice
  • Conduct detailed research of intended subject matter according to business needs
  • Strategize with company or organization leadership to set reasonable goals for proposals
  • Meet proposal deadlines, and ensure all contributors submit required data on time
  • Monitor submitted proposals, tracking both successful and unsuccessful ones
  • Collaborate with team members on different aspects regarding proposals
  • Create press releases to coincide with news release, as well as company milestones and special events
  • Develop original content and revise previously published business materials, including product and service guides, direct mail campaign materials and business-to-business presentation materials
  • Work is usually 5 days a week during the daytime, but urgent matters may need to handled 24/7 in exceptional circumstances.

Job Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience as a business writer (Especially formal proposal writing)
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline (English, Journalism, Business Administration, etc.)
  • Excellent researching skills
  • Strong writing and editing skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Tech-savvy with the ability to maintain and organize electronic files
  • Team player with the ability to collaborate with all departments
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to easily and fluently communicate in English & Arabic Language [both verbally and written].
  • Highly competent in the use of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project and other needed computer skills
