OverviewSeeking a Well Intervention Ops Engineer to manage activities related to offshore and onshore gas, oil, and water wells, including engineering consultation and investigation. The role requires expertise in monitoring drilling operations, completion design, flowback/testing operations, chemical treatments, logging and interventions, hydraulic fracturing, and integrity assurance for production enhancement.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide centralised engineering support for all operations.Ensure well intervention requirements are technically feasible and safe.Ensure all well interventions and testing equipment meet safety and technical standards.Liaise with Production Engineering to prepare activity level forecasts.Initiate, facilitate, and evaluate trial tests of new technologies.Conduct audits of well intervention operations and ensure compliance with best practices.Evaluate offshore vessels for safety and technical needs.Monitor and evaluate the condition of well services equipment and prepare replacement plans.Generate and maintain Operational Instruction Manuals (OIM) for all operations.Monitor well intervention performance and issue technical reports.Recommend and implement improvements in operational procedures for safety and efficiency.Prepare and disseminate best practices and conduct technical training sessions.Minimum RequirementsBachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or a relevant engineering discipline. An MS degree is desirable but not essential; extensive industry training, including specialised courses and seminars, is expected.At least 15 years of related experience, with 5 years of intensive field experience in well interventions, particularly Coiled Tubing and Wireline operations.Experience in sour oil fields with high H2S concentration, onshore and offshore environments, and smart well completions.Experience with HP/HT and high rate gas wells intervention.Must provide technical support for well operations, including well stimulation, hydraulic fracturing, well testing, well integrity, and state-of-the-art technology applications.Strong technical capabilities in coiled tubing, electric-line, and slickline conveyance.Active in related professional societies with recognition through webinars/seminars, publications, and international professional committees.
