Role Overview

We’re seeking a motivated and results-oriented Appointment Setter to join our team on a contract basis. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for potential clients, with the objective of scheduling discovery calls between qualified leads and our executive team. Your compensation will be tied to the success of the appointments you set—earning a percentage of every deal that closes from those appointments.

Key Responsibilities

Prospect Outreach

Identify potential clients through lead-generation methods such as cold calling, emailing, social media, and networking.

Research leads to ensure the highest possible conversion rates.

Initial Engagement & Qualification

Initiate contact with leads (via phone, email, or other channels).

Qualify leads to ensure they align with the field service niche and our target client profile before scheduling calls.

Scheduling Discovery Calls

Arrange detailed discovery meetings with the executive team.

Manage calendars and scheduling for smooth hand-offs and efficient workflows.

Follow-Up & Relationship Building

Maintain regular follow-up with prospects who have shown interest but aren’t ready to schedule immediately.

Keep thorough records of communications and status updates in our CRM system.

Performance & Reporting

Track your outreach and call metrics to identify areas for improvement.

Provide regular updates to the executive team on lead quality, scheduling success rates, and overall pipeline health.

Compensation

Commission-Only Structure: You will be paid a percentage of every deal that closes from the appointments you set.

This means your earnings are directly tied to the success and quality of the leads you bring in.

Specific commission rates can be discussed during the interview process.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

Communication Skills

Excellent phone etiquette and professional writing abilities.

Ability to quickly establish rapport over the phone and via email.

Sales or Telemarketing Experience

Previous experience in an appointment setter or outbound sales role is highly beneficial.

Familiarity with B2B sales environments or service-based businesses is an advantage.

Self-Starter

Highly organized, motivated, and capable of working independently.

Comfortable reaching out to cold leads and overcoming objections.

Tech Savvy

Proficiency with CRM software and online communication tools (e.g., Zoom, Slack, etc.).

Adept at using outreach technologies like email automation platforms, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and dialers (if applicable).

Results-Oriented Mindset

Driven to exceed quotas and meet KPIs—specifically around call volume, appointment setting, and conversion rates.
