Job Description

  • Work with Business Development Manager to identify overall business development strategy supporting goal of the company.
  • Work on Customer acquisition.
  • Provide solar business solutions.
  • Drive the complete sales cycle for identified and new projects, including lead generation, offer submission, techno-commercial discussions and assisting in the closure.
  • Ability to talk & interact with government authorities.
  • Coordinate with the Engineering, Procurement and Projects team for system design, cost and timelines respectively.
  • Conduct field visits to understand the scope of the project and feasibility.
  • Define project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation.
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Manage the relationship between internal and external stakeholders.
  • Plan, develop, and coordinate partnership agreements in accordance with company strategic objectives.
  • Develop and support new and current partnership.

Job Requirements

 

  • Bachelor's Degree required in finance, business administration, economics, or engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant sales experience in the solar.
  • Having an electrical engineering background would be an advantage.
  • Technical understanding of solar and the energy markets.
  • Related business processes (including relevant permits/licenses, project development, procurement etc.)
  • Ability to manage the entire project development process with various stakeholders and suppliers (originate, negotiate land right agreements, commercial DD, technical DD, off-taker agreements, etc).
  •  Experience working in cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent people management 
  •  Strong business acumen
  • Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Persuasive communicator
  • Excellent time management skills 
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and multiple stakeholder relationships.
  • Ability to work autonomously and multi-task.
  • Excellent verbal and written presentation skills, 
  •  Fluency in both English & French.
