Our client is seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Membership Specialist to join their team.
The Membership Specialist will be responsible for driving membership sales, delivering excellent customer service, and supporting retention efforts.
This role plays a key part in creating a welcoming experience for both prospective and current members while achieving sales and service targets.
Job Responsibilities
Serve as the first point of contact for prospective members by providing tours, explaining services, and highlighting membership benefits.
Generate new membership sales through walk-ins, referrals, outreach, and follow-ups.
Maintain accurate records of leads, inquiries, and conversions using CRM or membership software.
Assist with membership renewals, upgrades, freezes, and cancellations in a professional manner.
Support retention initiatives by building strong relationships with members and addressing concerns promptly.
Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to execute promotions and events.
Meet and exceed monthly membership sales and retention targets.
Provide exceptional customer service at all times, both in person and through phone/email.
Stay updated on company services, programs, and promotions.
Contribute to creating a welcoming, motivating, and community-focused environment.

2+ years of experience in customer service and sales roles within the gym/fitness industry.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.

Professional, approachable, and customer-focused attitude.
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM/membership management software.
