Job Description
- Academic Leadership:
- Oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the primary curriculum.
- Ensure teaching practices are age-appropriate and aligned with national and/or international standards.
- Monitor student progress, assessment practices, and learning outcomes.
- Support differentiated instruction and inclusive education.
- Staff Supervision:
- Lead and support teachers through regular classroom observations, coaching, and development.
- Facilitate ongoing professional development and training sessions.
- Conduct staff performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
- Student Development & Wellbeing:
- Promote positive behavior, student engagement, and a safe, supportive environment.
- Work closely with teachers, counselors, and parents to address academic or behavioral concerns.
- Encourage the development of social-emotional skills, creativity, and confidence in young learners.
- Administrative Duties:
- Develop and manage class schedules, teacher assignments, and annual plans.
- Ensure effective communication between school administration, teachers, and parents.
- Maintain accurate records related to students, teachers, and academic programs.
- Coordinate with health, safety, and special needs departments where necessary.
- Parental Engagement:
- Build strong partnerships with families through regular communication, workshops, and events.
- Address parental concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Promote transparency in student assessment and reporting.
Job Requirements
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Childhood Development, or related field.
- Leadership certification or diploma is a strong advantage.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in a primary school setting.
- At least 2 years in a leadership, coordination, or supervisory role.
- Skills and Competencies:
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
- Deep understanding of child development and primary-level pedagogy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bilingual (Arabic and English).
- Ability to foster a warm, inclusive, and child-centered environment.
- Proficient in school management systems and digital tools for education.
