Job Description

  • Academic Leadership:
  • Oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the primary curriculum.
  • Ensure teaching practices are age-appropriate and aligned with national and/or international standards.
  • Monitor student progress, assessment practices, and learning outcomes.
  • Support differentiated instruction and inclusive education.
  • Staff Supervision:
  • Lead and support teachers through regular classroom observations, coaching, and development.
  • Facilitate ongoing professional development and training sessions.
  • Conduct staff performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
  • Student Development & Wellbeing:
  • Promote positive behavior, student engagement, and a safe, supportive environment.
  • Work closely with teachers, counselors, and parents to address academic or behavioral concerns.
  • Encourage the development of social-emotional skills, creativity, and confidence in young learners.
  • Administrative Duties:
  • Develop and manage class schedules, teacher assignments, and annual plans.
  • Ensure effective communication between school administration, teachers, and parents.
  • Maintain accurate records related to students, teachers, and academic programs.
  • Coordinate with health, safety, and special needs departments where necessary.
  • Parental Engagement:
  • Build strong partnerships with families through regular communication, workshops, and events.
  • Address parental concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Promote transparency in student assessment and reporting.

Job Requirements

  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Childhood Development, or related field.
  • Leadership certification or diploma is a strong advantage.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in a primary school setting.
  • At least 2 years in a leadership, coordination, or supervisory role.
  • Skills and Competencies:
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills.
  • Deep understanding of child development and primary-level pedagogy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Bilingual (Arabic and English).
  • Ability to foster a warm, inclusive, and child-centered environment.
  • Proficient in school management systems and digital tools for education.
