Job Description
Foreign Procurement:
- Identify and evaluate potential international suppliers for light current systems, components, and related services.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to secure the best value for the company.
- Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, delivery, and cost targets are met.
- Prepare and process purchase orders and requisitions for foreign purchases.
Logistics Management:
- Coordinate with logistics providers to arrange the shipment and delivery of goods from international suppliers.
- Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any issues that may arise during transit.
- Work with customs brokers to ensure smooth customs clearance and compliance with import/export regulations.
- Manage and optimize logistics costs, including freight, customs duties, and taxes.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in procurement and logistics software (e.g., Odoo).
- Familiarity with international trade laws and customs regulations.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Fluency in English is required; knowledge of other languages is an asset.
