Source and identify new potential suppliers, both local and foreign, to ensure the highest quality and best prices for raw materials and supplies.
Negotiate prices, contract terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers to secure optimal purchasing agreements.
Prepare and issue purchase orders, and meticulously follow up to ensure timely deliveries.
Monitor international shipments and coordinate customs clearance procedures in collaboration with relevant parties.
Regularly evaluate supplier performance and maintain an updated supplier database.
Effectively resolve any issues or disputes that may arise with suppliers.
Stay abreast of market trends and proactively seek new opportunities to optimize the supply chain.
Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., Production, Warehousing, Finance) to ensure the mill's needs are met efficiently.
Prepare periodic reports on procurement activities and associated costs.

Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in foreign procurement, preferably within the manufacturing sector (paper mills or similar industries are a plus).
Excellent command of English, both spoken and written.
Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Good understanding of import/export regulations and customs procedures.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems for procurement.
