Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Electrical Draftsman with experience in preparing shop drawings and as-built drawings for electrical systems in construction and fit-out projects. The candidate will work closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure that all electrical drawings are accurate, coordinated, and compliant with project specifications and standards.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare electrical shop drawings and as-built drawings using AutoCAD based on design drawings, specifications, and site requirements.
• Develop detailed layouts for lighting, power distribution, low current, fire alarm, and other electrical systems.
• Review and coordinate electrical drawings with architectural, mechanical, and structural disciplines to avoid conflicts.
• Revise and update drawings based on consultant, client, or site feedback.
• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) using Excel for electrical works.
• Use Microsoft Office to prepare reports, documentation, and presentations.
• Maintain drawing logs, revision histories, and ensure timely submission for approvals.
• Provide technical support to the site team during installation and execution.
Job Requirements
Qualifications & Skills:
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Proven experience in electrical shop drawings for construction and fit-out projects.
• Knowledge of electrical standards.
• Strong ability to read and interpret MEP, architectural, and structural drawings.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and strong problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
