Job Description
- Supervise day-to-day operations and maintenance activities of mechanical systems.
- Lead a team of technicians and contractors, assigning tasks and ensuring proper execution of preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Ensure all mechanical systems operate in compliance with GMP, HSE, and pharmaceutical regulatory standards.
- Conduct routine inspections, diagnose faults, and oversee troubleshooting and repairs.
- Review maintenance documentation, calibration records, and logbooks to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Coordinate with production, QA, and utility teams to minimize downtime and respond effectively to breakdowns or deviations.
- Ensure proper execution of SOPs, work permits, and risk assessments during all maintenance tasks.
- Train and guide mechanical maintenance technicians to ensure technical competency and adherence to safety protocols.
- Maintain inventory of critical spare parts and support procurement planning.
- Prepare daily/weekly maintenance reports and KPIs for management review.
- Participate in audits (internal and external) and support closure of observations related to mechanical systems
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering .
- Minimum 6–8 years of experience in mechanical maintenance.
- Familiarity with validation and qualification protocols.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage priorities, and lead a team effectively.
