Job Description
- Supervise and oversee mechanical works on-site to ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems.
- Review and interpret mechanical drawings, plans, and specifications to guide installation and construction activities.
- Monitor daily site activities, track progress, and prepare regular reports on project status and milestones.
- Conduct inspections and quality checks on mechanical installations, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
- Identify and resolve technical issues or discrepancies encountered during site execution.
- Ensure that all mechanical work adheres to local codes, regulations, and company policies.
- Manage subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring timely delivery and installation of mechanical components.
- Participate in site meetings and communicate effectively with stakeholders to address project requirements and challenges.
- Support commissioning, testing, and handover processes for mechanical systems upon project completion.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
- +2 years of proven experience as a Mechanical Site Engineer or similar role in construction or real estate development.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection.
- Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for team collaboration.
