Job Description
Supply Chain Analyst
- Constantly reviewing the forecasted sales vs actual sales to identify any potential inaccuracies in the forecast and monitoring actual sales on a weekly basis to identify any spikes in sales activity and sending a weekly forecast vs actual sales analysis report.
- Submitting purchase order records in NetSuite for all new orders with accurate order information.
- Keeping record of all orders placed, under production, and delivered, and constantly updating their statuses and planned production completion dates.
- Quickly arranging container bookings after production of orders is completed and creating each container’s Inbound Shipment record in NetSuite with the correct items and their quantities.
- Entering incoming shipping Bills in NetSuite for each container and assigning the landed cost to the container’s item receipt using the advised procedure.
- Analyzing lead time accuracy by comparing planned production completion dates & planned shipping times to actual and reporting any large variances from planned lead times.
- Keeping a record of quality control issues reported by the warehousing team and notifying suppliers of them.
- Creating supply chain related analysis reports / data analysis.
Job Requirements
Supply Chain Analyst
- ● Proven experience as a Supply Chain Analyst, Logistics Coordinator or similar role
- ● Experience in data mining, analysis and reporting
- ● Familiarity with supply chain processes (e.g.inventory planning, warehouse management)
- ● Working knowledge of MS Office, relational databases and ERP systems (e.g. SAP)
- ● Analytical mind with business acumen
- ● Problem-solving aptitude
- ● Attention to detail
- ● Excellent communication skills
