Job Description
- Assist in monitoring construction activities to ensure they follow drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
- Report site issues, delays, or deviations to senior engineers or project managers.
- Support in preparing and reviewing engineering drawings, BOQs, and project documentation.
- Assist in quantity take-offs, material calculations, and site measurements.
- Help prepare work schedules and coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Update daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Assist with inspection of materials and workmanship on site.
- Help implement quality assurance procedures under the guidance of senior staff.
- Ensure site safety practices are followed.
- Report unsafe acts or conditions immediately.
- Coordinate between site workers, foremen, and the office team.
- Attend site meetings and document action items and decisions.
- Maintain site diaries, labor records, and photo documentation.
- Support in preparing documents for client or consultant review.
- Participate in training programs or shadow senior engineers to learn codes, standards, and software (like AutoCAD, Primavera, or MS Project).
Job Requirements
- BS/MA in Civil Engineering
- 1-2 years of experience
- Very good Autocad
- Excellent communication skills
- Very good English
- Males are preferable
