Job Description
- Develop recruitment strategies tailored for construction and contracting roles (engineers, technicians, site labor, project managers, etc.).
- Build a strong talent pool for ongoing and upcoming projects.
- Collaborate with project managers to forecast manpower requirements.
Act as the main contact for HR issues across head office and project sites. - Manage employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions fairly.
- Design and implement employee engagement initiatives to reduce turnover in site teams.
Coordinate technical and safety training, certifications, and leadership development programs. - Implement performance appraisal systems aligned with project timelines and deliverables.
- Monitor employee productivity and recommend strategies to improve workforce efficiency.
Design competitive salary structures, allowances, and benefits suitable for both office and site-based employees. - Partner with senior management to drive culture, change management, and succession planning.
- Implement DEIB (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging) initiatives adapted to a multicultural workforce.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s or HR certification is a plus).
- Minimum 7–10 years of HR experience, with at least 3–5 years in the construction/contracting industry.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, compliance, and site-based HR challenges.
- Experience in managing both white-collar and blue-collar recruitment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Ability to travel frequently to project sites.
- Proficiency in MS OFFICE
