Job Description
- Design/Manufacture Sheet Metal Dies.
- Design/Manufacture Equipment for Production Process.
- Design/Manufacture Materials tables for Molds and Equipment.
- Draw Details for Molds and Equipment.
- Draw Spare Parts for performing Reverse Engineering
- Responsible for designing Engineering changes on existing molds .
- support customer's needs in design and engineering.
- Maintain a high level of mold design standards .
- creating 2D mold layout assembly drawings and bill of materials .
- generating 3D electrodes ,along with 2D detail drawings and burn sheets for EDM .
- Ordering Mold bases and standard components.
Job Requirements
- Experience in Tool making and machining processes - Die making experience is an asset
- Ability to use engineering drawing software such as AutoCad and solidworks
- Bachelor degree of mechanical engineering.
- At least 10 years’ experience in Mold making – specially from an industry which require precise molding.
- Ability to read blueprints and other technical documents. Requires understanding of ANSI/ISO drawing standards and GD&T dimensioning.
- Knowledge of Wire EDM and/or CNC machining technologies.Knowledge of common engineering plastics used for injection molding .
- CAD/CAM expert and Very Proficient 3D Solid Works mold design package or others ( CATIA, NX … etc.). Knowledge of tool steels and their applications.
