Job Description
We are seeking a Site Engineer with solid experience in landscape construction to oversee and execute site activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing on-site work, coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers, and ensuring that all landscaping works are delivered according to drawings, specifications, and project timeline.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the execution of softscape, hardscape, and irrigation works on-site as per approved drawings and project specifications.
- Ensure the implementation of daily work activities according to the approved plan and timeline.
- Coordinate with the technical office, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure proper workflow and timely delivery of materials.
- Review shop drawings and follow up on site adjustments as needed.
- Monitor and ensure quality control, safety regulations, and environmental standards on-site.
- Prepare daily and weekly progress reports and submit them to the project manager.
- Assist in resolving any unexpected technical difficulties or problems that may arise during execution.
- Attend site meetings and ensure proper documentation of work activities.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Landscape Engineering.
- 5 to 10 years of proven experience as a Site Engineer in landscaping or infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of landscape execution (softscape, hardscape, irrigation systems).
- Ability to read and implement shop drawings and specifications on-site.
- Good understanding of site safety procedures and quality control standards.
- Proficient in using surveying tools and basic site measuring equipment.
- Strong coordination and communication skills with subcontractors, suppliers, and other teams.
- Ability to manage daily site activities and solve on-site problems efficiently.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and AutoCAD for basic reference.
- Good command of English (spoken and written).
- Flexibility to work in different site locations as per project needs.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
