Position Overview: 

Agro Scope is seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Representative to manage and drive the sales of our grain commodities to wholesalers in Egypt. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, excellent communication skills, and a solid commodity sales or trading background. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive the sales of grain commodities to wholesalers in Egypt.
  • Identify and target potential wholesale customers, establishing and nurturing long-term relationships.
  • Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
  • Present, promote and sell products to existing and prospective customers.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
  • Negotiate sales contracts, terms, and pricing agreements.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance, regularly updating the management team.
  • Attend trade shows, conferences, and industry events to network and promote Agro Scope’s products.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support, addressing any issues or concerns promptly and professionally.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Agriculture, or a related field (preferred).
  • 2 to 4 years of proven experience as a Sales Representative in the agricultural or commodities sector.
  • Strong knowledge of grain commodities and the wholesale market.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Results-driven with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel to meet with clients and attend industry events.
  • A car is a must.
