Receive Material requirement in the PR for new scope Projects from MRP team to check vendor list supplier availability to provide materials or search for new provider and/or solve problems within the purchasing lead time to fulfill materials needed as required
Search and develop variety of suppliers for different material of mechanical and electrical types as sheet metal/cupper/components/accessories/tools/coatings/printing labels ,and make forecast for upcoming months for most used materials in projects
Make audit for new suppliers in coordination with PM/Quality/Finance departments to asses supplier production capacity/labor/equipment used in production/tools used, make score card, perform quality inspection of sample, update and add supplier to vendor list and send to purchasing to be used in purchasing processes
Negotiate prices/payment terms/delivery dates with providers ,select best prices with respect to quality requirements, to make contract to fix prices and make it stable
Provide technical counseling and advise to purchasing dept., within the process , solve suppliers problems of failure to comply with agreement and provide solutions as required to ensure materials availability on time
Perform regular Auditing to suppliers using supplier evaluation, random selection of materials to be tested by quality dept., make reports to manger about non-compliance reasons in case of quality recommendations or urgent projects, and make material study reports.
