Job Description
- Analyze manufacturing costs and prepare regular reports comparing standards cost with actual production cost.
- Prepare reports to participate in the preparation of planning budgets and forecast activity and present them to the direct manager for approval.
- Develop and maintain the cost accounting systems, documents and records.
- Analyze fixed costs (e.g. salaries, rent, and insurance) and variable costs (e.g. purchases of raw material and operations costs) to allocate the costing.
- Assess the cost-effectiveness of products, services and tracking actual costs relatively.
- Analyze profit margins to monitor cost efficiency.
- Collect, provide and display the information necessary to determine the cost of each product or service of the company's products and services.
- Review the financial settlements of the activity and upload them to their cost centers in order to pay the dues to the requesting parties.
- Analyze any change in goods and services provided to determine the effect on the total cost and how it affect.
- Support and guide decision-making regarding cost-efficiency enhancement.
- Identify and recommend cost-effective solutions to meet the company's objectives.
- Visit Company branches to estimate information about cost and availability of services
- Prepare and complete internal cost audits.
- Prepare (monthly, quarterly and annual) cost forecasts to meet the company`s objectives.
- Monitor and analyze the cost of items sold as part of the month-end close.
- Analyze the activity expenses with the aim of distributing them and charging them to their cost centers and showing their impact on profitability and submitting a report on them to the direct manager.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in cost accounting and budget control
- Must have previous experience monitoring costing in an industrial company
- Preferable to be CMA Holder
- Very good user of Microsoft office
- Must have experience in applying cost accounting using ERP System (Especially Microsoft Dynamics)
- Very good command of the English language
- Excellent accuracy and communication skills
- Excellent report-writing and communication skills.
