Job Description
The Accounting Manager ensures the integrity of financial records, manages the general ledger, and oversees internal controls and compliance. This role maintains accurate and timely financial reporting and plays a key part in supporting audits and business decision-making.
- Supervise daily accounting operations including AP, AR, payroll, and fixed assets
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing statements and financial reports
- Ensure accurate journal entries and reconciliations in accordance with IFRS/GAAP
- Develop and monitor accounting controls, policies, and SOPs
- Lead preparation of tax declarations and support tax audits
- Coordinate and manage relationships with external auditors
- Conduct variance analyses and support budgeting processes
- Provide guidance and mentorship to accountants
- Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory obligations
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/CMA highly preferred)
- 8–10 years of accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards, tax compliance, and reporting regulations
- Experience in ERP systems and automated accounting workflows
- High level of accuracy, organizational skills, and ethical integrity
